     About  F.A.I.T.H.  Riders

"We can do this."

With those four simple words, two couples at a church in Lakeland, FL said "Yes" to the divine leading of God, and established a motorcycle ministry called F.A.I.T.H. Riders in February 2002.  What began as a four-person step of faith has grown into a team of many dedicated believers committed to the cause of Christ and to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ on and with their motorcycles to any who will listen.  The ministry has expanded to over 175 churches, with more chapters being established every year  -  chapters comprised of motorcycle riders and others passionate about sharing F.A.I.T.H. through Christian fellowship.

What does F.A.I.T.H. mean?

F orgiveness.   Forgiveness must come through Jesus Christ.  (Ephesians 1:7)
A vailable.   Christ’s forgiveness is available to all, but it's not automatic.  (John 3:16)
I mpossible.   It's impossible for God to allow sin into Heaven.  (Romans 3:23)
T urn.   You must turn from sin & self to Jesus Christ.  (Romans 10:9)
H eaven.   Heaven is eternal life, and it’s as simple as  “A,  B,  C”.

Prayer of Salvation
A - Admit you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
B - Believe that Jesus is the sinless Son of God and He died on the cross for your sins.
C - Commit your your life to Jesus Christ.

About the F.A.I.T.H. Rider Patch

The F.A.I.T.H. Riders' slogan, "No One Left Behind," is based on 2 Peter 3:9:

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.  He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance".

The F.A.I.T.H. Riders blazon  -  their "colors"  --   consist of four primary colors and four symbols.

 White

God's light and glory, in which all darkness disappears and there are no shadows.

 Red

The blood of Jesus, which cleanses the sinner of all sin and makes him or her the righteous saint of God because of its being shed at the Cross.  Salvation to us is free, but its cost is priceless. It represents Jesus.

 Blue

Regal, the color of royalty.  Our sins cost the life of the King of Kings, and He gave it willingly so we could have the way to salvation.  We are the only created being offered this gift.

 Gold

Purity.  Gold can only be made pure by passing through a crucible's fire until the impurities are removed and the goldsmith can see his reflection on the surface of the metal.  This is a picture of what happens when a sinner passes through the blood of Jesus Christ.

 the Cross

The symbol of where the Prince of Glory died.  The Cross on our colors is empty  -  the price of salvation is paid in full.  Our savior, Jesus Christ, ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.  He is our advocate to the Father, seeing that the covenant provisions are being ministered to us.

 the Flag

One God; a nation set apart as long as we give glory to the God who blesses the nations.

 the Stars

There are only seven complete stars in the blazon.  Seven is a symbolic number in scripture that describes perfection and completeness. Everything in life is complete in Jesus Christ.

 the Eagle

A bird of prey that represents power, justice, and God's forthcoming wrath upon the unholy.

F.A.I.T.H. Rider chapters are made up of people from all areas of life, but we do have a common interest  -  enjoyment and enthusiasm for motorcycles, all makes and models.  No matter what you ride - or even if you don't - all are welcome.

The Ministry of F.A.I.T.H Riders

The command of God implores us as we "go into all the world we are to preach the Gospel to all creation" (Mark 16:15).  The F.A.I.T.H. Riders take this calling seriously as the lifeblood of its existence and passion.  This is a ministry, and our sole purpose is to equip the saints to engage in practical ministry opportunities.

Working with Other Ministries

F.A.I.T.H. Riders was not formed to be in competition with other biker ministries, nor do we try to attract members away from other ministries.  Our goal is to work alongside other motorcycle ministries and help and support them as we can.  We may wear a different patch, but we are serving the same Lord, and are on the same team.  Being a church-based motorcycle ministry, F.A.I.T.H. Riders is inclusive -  regardless if members are wearing a different Christian patch, a secular club patch, or no patch  -  they are welcome to ride and serve with a F.A.I.T.H. Rider chapter.  They can even serve in a leadership position in a local chapter.

Mission Statement

Crossroads Bikers

Crossroads Bikers started in 2005, as an outreach of a single local church - with the vision of not just riding, but serving our community, and actively pursuing ministry and outreach opportunities in our area.  Our goal was and is to make relationships, share the gospel message, bring some un-churched people or new believers to our church, and help them grow in their Christian walk.  Our goal from the beginning was "To Be and Build Disciples of Christ . . . through motorcycling".  Our goals and vision align well with the F.A.I.T.H. Riders M/M, so in April 2011 we decided to affiliate with them.

Crossroads F.A.I.T.H. Rider chapter

We may be one of the newest chapters in GA, but we may also be the most active.

You don't have to be a member of Crossroads Church, or any church, to serve with our biker ministry.  You don't even need to own or ride a motorcycle.  You do need to have a heart of serving others and reaching motorcyclists for Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions or need more information, please email Ron LaSocha, our biker ministry  director.
