A Better Way         

   

 

Crossroads Bikers support A Better Way Ministries - a local, Sharpsburg-area (soon to be an additional campus in Senoia!) Christ-centered drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation farm for men.  Founded by John Barrow in 2005, this A Better Way logofarm and treatment program (curriculum by Teen Challenge) is helping God to change lives - right here in Coweta County.  

     

Many of our bikers know first-hand the damage on lives and families that chemical dependency and alcohol addiction can deliver on people, and their relationships.  We just want to help ministries that are showing young men a better direction in life.

         Our 2011 Benefit Ride for A Better Way      

  

Please join us Sat. June 4, 2011 from Great South H-D registration 1 pm - 3:15 pm, with backroads ride leaving at 3:30 pm.  There's no ride fee for this ride, so everyone come and join us.  Donations are accepted, and even encouraged (all to support this ministry).  Ride ends at Crossroads Hwy. 154 Worship Center (live band, food, and service).  Better Way chefs are cooking (they can really cook), but we're providing the food (we can really go shopping!).  Food donations appreciated, too.  See Johnny D. or (678-770-5796) to assist or if you need more information.

 

 

 

         Pictures from 2010 Ride  -   

  

Our last benefit ride for A Better Way was April 10, 2010 - we hope you were able to participate - it was pretty awesome.  We left Great South Harley-Davidson about 3:32 p.m., for an awesome 1 1/2 hour ride through South Coweta/North Meriwether county.  We stopped for water at A Better Way farm, and then rode to Crossroads Church Hwy. 154 campus for food.  Food was cooked by A Better Way clients.  After dinner music by Crossroads "Biker Band", and great praise worship included testimonies from Danny, Ryan, and Taylor.  John Barrow (Founder of A Better Way) gave the history of the ministry and a message.  Thanks to generous bikers, we raised $1,523 for this ministry!  More pictures of the 2010 event here.    If you missed it, we plan on doing it again in June 2011.
