Sun. Feb. 12.    Monthly meeting after the 11:15 service.   Meeting to be held in the upstairs conference room at Hwy. 16 campus should begin at 12:45 pm.   Optional ride to eat somewhere after the meeting is over.

Rides and Events for March 2012    

Sat. Mar. 10 - Sat. Mar. 17  -  Crossroads Mission Trip to Daytona Bike Week, joint venture with FL Baptist Convention, FAITH riders, and 1st Baptist Daytona.  Sign-up for $125 (plus fuel costs) thru 12/31/2011.  Sign up after 1/1/12 (until 1/30/12 for $175 (plus fuel costs).  You can learn to share your testimony and the gospel message with another person.  Our ride/mission trip leaves Sat. morning 3/10/12 (9:00 am from Hwy. 16 campus) and returns Sat. 3/17/12.  Three training sessions will be held at Crossroads Hwy. 16 campus on Jan. 29, Feb. 19, and Mar. 4.   Information sheet. 

Rides and Events for April 2012    

Fri. Apr. 13 - Sat. Apr. 14  -  Prison Min. overnight trip to Birmingham, AL, and the annual prison ministry mission trip.  Sign up for this trip by Mar. 21 at www.billglass.org.  Cost of serving is approx. $90.  Learn to share a simple gospel pamphlet, ride your bike right inside the prison yard, and share with inmates.  Or, come in a car and park in prison parking lot.  6-7 correctional facilities around B'ham.  Information sheet.  Our group will meet at Crossroads Church  Hwy. 154 campus at 1:00 p.m. Friday 413, leaving at 1:30 p.m.     

Rides and Events for May 2012    

Thu. May 23 - Sat. May 26  -  Prison Ministry weekend event in Atlanta.  Bill Glass Champions for Life will go into 11-12 facilities around Atlanta.  Training will be at church TBD.  Register by April 25 at www.billglass.org or see Sam for print application.  Cost is $25.     

Fri. May 25 - Mon. May 28  -  8th Annual Rally to Ridgecrest in Asheville, MC.  During the rally will be the 10th Anniversary F.A.I.T.H. Riders celebration.  The Rally to Ridgecrest is sponsored by lifeway.com and has guest speakers like Keni Thomas, excellent organized rides, great praise & worship,  and educational seminars.  Rally goes from 6 pm Fri. til 10 am Monday.  The Memorial Day service at Black Mountain Veterans Cemetery is very moving.  Event fee $60, plus meals $61.50, and lodging ($59-90 per night or for RV $35 per night.  See Chip, Carol, Sam or Kathy if you want to ask questions about this rally, as one has been every year since 2003.  Ride details from Newnan TBD.

Sat. Jun. 30  -  Benefit Ride from Great South H-D to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.  Times and other details TBD.
