News

Got any news?  This is where we'll post  newsworthy items of interest concerning the Crossroads  Bikers, and our newsletter.    HOT off the press

Jan. 25, 2011  -  After doing ministry for 5 1/2 years as a standalone, single-church biker ministry, the majority of the biker leadership team decided to affiliate our ministry with F.A.I.T.H. Riders out of Lakeland, FL.  F.A.I.T.H. Riders is based in SBC churches, and is responsible to the local church, with minimal ministry oversight by First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland.  So, on April 2, 2011 at Crossroads Hwy. 154 (Hangar) we'll have a commissioning service, and Crossroads F.A.I.T.H. Riders will be born - the 32nd chapter in GA, and the 191st chapter in the U.S.  The ministry is inclusive (like our current ministry) - you can ride with us, serve, even be an officer - regardless of what backpatch you're wearing.  In the 5 1/2 years we've served, we've had folks with CMA patches, F.A.I.T.H. Rider patches, Redeemed Biker Church patches, BFC, New Vision Church, ALR Riders, POW-MIA patch and no patch - we'll serve with anybody and will continue that.

Dec. 30, 2010  -  Angel Tree for 2010 is complete.  All children got their gifts.  We served 311 kids in 12 counties in 2010.  In 2010 we want to give and hand (and much thanks) to these motorcycle ministries that helped us:  CMA Grace Riders, CMA Cross & Crown Riders, CMA Blessed Riders, New Vision Church, Redeemed Biker Church, Salem BC F.A.I.T.H. Riders, Beulah BC F.A.I.T.H. Riders, CMA Highly Favored Riders, and Roopville Rd. F.A.I.T.H. Riders.

Dec. 26, 2009  -  Angel Tree for 2009 is complete.  All kids (that we could locate) got their gifts - we think 421 kids in 12 counties in the area.  Thanks to a few other churches and motorcycle ministries that helped us: CMA Grace Riders, CMA Cross & Crown Riders, CMA Blessed Riders, New Vision Biker Ministry, Redeemed Biker Church, Southside Saints, Hog Heaven Riders, Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, Salem Baptist Church, Community Bible Church, New Covenant Baptist-For. Park, Crossroads South Fulton, Crossroads Jackson Co., and of course Crossroads volunteers.

May 2009 -  Big thanks and a shout out to Earl Thomas, from Columbus, GA CMA chapter, who gave up his time to help us learn to ride better and more in control.  Earl is a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor, and came to Crossroads to lead us through practice drills in the parking lot.  Thanks, Earl.

Right now, we handle most of our ride and event communications through email.  If you would like to be on the email list of the Crossroads Bikers, please complete this form, or Email the Secretary.  Include your name, email address and phone number.
